Women’s Business Accelerator

Over the course of this 8-week program, participants will take part in a combination of expert led workshops, one-on-one meetings with mentors and peer-to-peer discussions all designed to help them improve their business processes and set a foundation for growth. Through networking with other small business owners, participants will develop a solid support system they can count on as they continue their entrepreneurial endeavors.

InnovateHER

The SBA InnovateHER challenge is a national prize competition aimed at unearthing innovative products and services that impact and empower the lives of women and families. Each year, the WBC hosts a local business plan/ pitch competition to select a semi-finalist nominee that has an innovative product or service that will help impact and empower the lives of women and families.

Business Opportunity Academy

The LiftFund Women’s Business Center, in partnership with local partner agencies, hosts an annual accelerator program for small business contractors operating in San Antonio. The academy is a training and experience platform that focuses on traditionally underserved communities such as small, minority, women, veteran, disabled individual business enterprises, disadvantaged, and historically underutilized businesses. Participants must have one or more years in business and at least one small or minority business certification.

Art Tank

The Art Tank business accelerator is designed to address the unique challenges and opportunities that artist entrepreneurs face. Over the course of this 8 week program, participants will learn how to create and maintain a sustainable business venture based around their artistic talents. The program is comprised of workshops, roundtables, one-on-one advising and peer-to-peer learning.

 

Youth Entrepreneurship Program

The Youth Entrepreneurship Program helps high school juniors and seniors explore entrepreneurship as a post-graduation opportunity. Students participate in weekly workshops to help them develop, refine, and research a potential business venture. The student groups then compete in a pitch competition and present their ideas to the community at large.
