The LiftFund Women’s Business Center (WBC) is dedicated to supporting business owners, especially women and minorities, through business education and business consulting. Since 2008, the WBC has been serving the San Antonio small business community with consultations and trainings to entrepreneurs at all stages of their business. Whether you need a start-up business plan, or advice and seminars on business and market planning to grow your business, we are here for you. The WBC is a program of LiftFund, a non-profit small business lender, and a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration. We provide innovative business support services like technical and soft skill trainings, accelerator programs, individual consultations, and strategic partnerships with other small business service providers. The LiftFund Women’s Business Center is funded in part by the US Small Business Administration’s Office of Women’s Business Ownership.

Zindy Infante

Director

Zindy Infante is the director of the LiftFund Women’s Business Center, a resource partner of the Small Business Administration and a program of LiftFund dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs in launching and growing their business. In her role as director of the Women’s Business Center, Zindy creates and curates training programs and other resources designed to help business owners improve their business acumen. She oversees a team of business advisors, mentors and volunteers to provide one-on-one advising to help small business owners overcome challenges and empower them with tools, knowledge and connections to succeed in business.

Prior to her position at LiftFund, Zindy spent five years launching and growing her own small business from a start-up to a profitable and sustainable operation, growing organically more than 50% every year. In addition to her practical experience gained as a small business owner, Zindy has a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Texas at Arlington. She began her career working in public relations, then moved into the world of corporate training. After first focusing on customer service and sales, she then became a corporate trainer and attained the official designation of Certified Microsoft Office Specialist Master. She has assisted dozens of businesses in numerous states across the U.S. by implementing and delivering custom training workshops for large corporations. In 2010, she pursued a career in IT sales and marketing with a local company in San Antonio, helping to boost sales and client retention through customer service improvement initiatives. Zindy is originally from Monterrey, Mexico and is fluent in Spanish. She is a passionate life-long learner, and in her spare time enjoys reading and spending time with friends, family and her two dogs, Atlas & Tobie.

Carlos Acosta

Business Advisor

In his role as a Business Advisor, Carlos assists entrepreneurs in navigating business challenges and pursuing new growth opportunities. He was recently awarded “Business Support Champion of the Year” in 2016 by LiftFund’s leadership and staff. 

Prior to his position at LiftFund, Carlos participated in Public Allies, a leadership program of AmeriCorps. From 2008 to 2013, Carlos served in the United States Navy as a logistics specialist (LS). He is a member of the 2017 National Association of Latino Community Asset Builders Colegio cohort.
